Creative Together
Visual Thinking Workshops
Spark insight, strengthen connection and align your team around what matters.
Through image-making, metaphor and co-creation, these engaging workshops help individuals clarify their own thinking. As well as guide the group toward shared understanding, common goals and clear next steps.
IMAGES ARE INCLUSIVE
Pictures make abstract ideas tangible & accessible. They help communication flow.
Working with visuals shifts the focus from ‘saying the right thing’ to ‘showing what one thinks’.
This approach empowers those who may struggle with words or public speaking—including quieter voices, visual thinkers or neurodivergent individuals.
Visual tools encourage a more thoughtful pace, creating space for reflection, deeper listening and the emergence of perspectives that might otherwise go unheard. The image is not the end point, rather like a diagram or illustration they are put to work to help communication.
At the same time, they accelerate access to deeper insight and emotional truth—bypassing overthinking and helping groups move more quickly into meaningful dialogue and genuine connection.
COMMUNITY LEARNING
Workshops for nonprofit, arts & education sectors.
Creative workshops are particularly valuable for mission-driven groups who often navigate unique challenges without the larger budgets typical in the for-profit world.
These sessions offer a fresh way to slow down and tune in. To listen to a full palette of community members perspectives and connect. Working visually is more inclusive. Groups often come away feeling energised, more aligned with their mission and with a renewed sense of direction.

Workshop Feedback
“I enjoyed it so much! It felt like such a creative way to pool people’s ideas and draw out themes and key words that were really relevant. It was so fun to do and felt really useful as a task to understand a particular question but in a really creative way.
I was really surprised how much detail and depth Devlin elicited from people, and how quickly this built into a group vision. Seeing it come together right in front of us was amazing! I also really liked the way Devlin kept pushing for details, didn’t make any assumptions and checked in that the image represented what we’d intended.
I found it difficult to complete the pre-task because I don’t really think in pictures, but Devlin adapted so quickly in the session and easily coaxed the information that she needed out of me in a way that supported me to participate even though my brain works differently!”

Testimonials

"It gave me a clearer insight and knowledge of the other people in the group in a way that seemed to be comfortable for all involved, which gave an interesting insight into the process. It also challenged me on collaboration which I can find difficult, it was a positive experience of such and will strengthen my personal and work practices. Thank you for delivering such a stimulating activity, it was much enjoyed and appreciated."

"It was an activity that I had not done before. I found it engaging and it made me feel connected and part of a team . It also gave me a formula or set of tools to apply this method to personal working methods."

"I was surprised that the same themes kept coming up—especially around being vulnerable when being creative. I felt nervous but excited choosing my images, and a bit anxious to talk about something so personal. But I was also curious to see what others had chosen. I felt relieved after sharing and really enjoyed listening to everyone’s ideas. I felt very involved in the workshop and loved how the final image grew and evolved. It was a lot of fun."
